Since 2010, the Mystai have done a retreat every August during the Perseid meteor shower to celebrate Hekate's Mysteries. One of the main foci of our work as a group is researching, creating, and evolving these Mystery practices and teaching via the School of the Zerynthian Mysteries. This school has been offering a Priestess Path in the Mystery Tradition since 2011 and is adding a new Path, The Kouros Path, for men who wish to learn about and grow the male side of this Mystery Tradition, beginning in February 2025. We also teach on many other topics.
2015 saw the culmination of my heart’s work The Hekate Tarot, a devotional project which I co-created with a Sister Priestess in the Mystai. This deck is entirely focused on the symbols and epithets of Hekate. I am also the author of The Dance of the Mystai which was first published in 2009. I am currently working on a couple new projects involving Hekate and her manifestations in the modern world.
In 2020, I earned a B.Sc. from Purdue University Northwest and work in the liminal spaces of the online world as a network engineer guarding and maintaining the network edge environment where the wild west of the internet meets the internal network of my employer. No matter where I go, it seems Hekate finds a way to put me where realms meet.
I can frequently be found at events in the greater Chicago area reading and teaching tarot.
